ACE Coach Award

The "ACE" (Athlete Community Excellence) Award,  traditionally presented only to BC Athletes, is a way for athletes to recognize their coaches for the role they play in Achieving Community Excellence.  This award will be made to one recipient at each Community Coaching Forum and Coaches Conference.

Investors Group Volunteer Sport Administrator Award

The award recognizes the contribution to community sport programs made by a dedicated volunteer who has given countless hours of time so that coaches and athletes can enjoy the benefits of well-organized sport.  The nominee must demonstrate outstanding commitment and service in an administrative capacity for a club, organization, or event, resulting in a strong impact on the community for coaches and athletes.  

This award will be made to one recipient at each Community Coaching Forum and Coaches Conference.  (See below for list of communities hosting conferences/forums)

Anyone may submit a nomination.  Please e-mail the following information to info@coaches.bc.ca:

1. Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address; and relationship to the nominee
2. Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the coach
3. History of service to community sport programs reflecting the commitment and service of the nominee
4. List of other awards or recognition received
5. Description of any outstanding qualities or contributions that the nominator feels would be of interest to the selection committee.

Application Deadline: 5PM Monday September 6th, 2010!
