Membership in the Coaches Association of BC ensures that you have the most up-to-date information to be the best coach you can be, regardless of the level of athlete you work with. All coaches are eligible for membership, regardless of whether or not they are NCCP certified.
(Note: NCCP certification and/or membership in a national coaching association does not automatically provide membership in the CABC. You must apply for a separate membership.)
Members can log in to access information and educational tools provided exclusively to members.
Members receive priority notice of upcoming courses, events and professional development opportunities.
Members have exclusive access to professional development webcasts covering a wide variety of coaching topics.
The CABC's quarterly publication includes the latest coaching news in BC and an up-to-date list of resources and programs available to coaches. It includes articles on sport nutrition, legal issues in sport, sport psychology, sport medicine, financial management as well as information on upcoming events, seminars and NCCP courses. Members receive a mailed copy of the magazine and can also access a PDF copy through the CABC Members Only area.
A monthly e-mail update with information regarding seminars, grants and scholarships, awards and other coach related information. Members have exclusive access to archived ENews.
A toll free line gives coaches anywhere in BC direct access to the CABC office where knowledgeable staff will assist you with your questions.
Members are eligible for Coach of the Year Awards and other member recognition programs
Each month a new publication from Human Kinetics is featured. Members are offered a 25% discount on purchasing the book, and may also borrow the publication from the CABC office, free of charge.
Need legal advice? The CABC works with law firms to assist with contractual specifics and coaching related needs.
The CABC has developed a standard contract that is available to all full members for use in negotiations with their respective employer.
Members are eligible to attend the CABC Annual General Meeting and vote on matters affecting the direction and policies of the Association.
The CABC works with selected agencies to provide members with discounts on conferences, workshops and other sport related services.

An individual who is a resident of BC, but who does NOT have NCCP training
Affiliate Member - Annual $15; Five year membership $50
An individual who had NCCP training but is NOT a resident of BC
** Refund/Cancellation Policy: CABC issues NO REFUNDS on membership fees, NCCP courses hosted by CABC (i.e. home study courses, etc.) and/or Coaches Week Events hosted by CABC. Refunds will only be issued for cancelled courses and/or events offered by the CABC directly. Fees subject to change without notice.
