The home study program is designed for those coaches unable to attend a course in their area. Upon registering, the course material will be mailed to the coach. The coach will then complete the workbook within 3 months and submit it to an NCCP Learning Facilitator (tutor) to be marked. The tutor will also be available to you should you have any questions throughout the course.
Note: The minimum age to take a multi-sport NCCP course is 16 years old. Credit will not be given to those below this minimum age requirement.
**Important Note** - Do you know which course you need to take to become trained in your sport? As sports are integrating into the new system, some sports have integrated the multi-sport modules with the sport-specific components. Check with your Provincial Sport Organization first to confirm the training you require. Click here to find a link to the BC Provincial Sport Organizations or go to the Sport Tracking section on the CAC web site to see if your sport has integrated.
Home Study is available for the following multi-sport modules:
Competition - Introduction: Part A $140, Part B $140. Make Ethical Decisions module alone costs $35.
Competition - Development: Coaching and Leading Effectively $115, Developing Athletic Abilities $115, Prevention and Recovery $115, Psychology of Performance $115, Leading Drug Free Sport $85, Managing Conflict $85.
